Every job you create in PhotoDay comes with decisions to make: gallery access settings, price sheets, marketing flyers, and the subject data that ties it all together. Up until now, starting a new job meant having to start over with every custom setting.
Job Duplication changes that.
With our new Job Duplication feature, you can use an existing job as a template or starting point for a brand new job. Saving you multiple clicks and repetitive decision-making. It’s a seemingly simple improvement with a big quality-of-life impact!
You’ve already done the work. Now clone it.
From your Jobs List, click the new Copy button on any existing job in any state (draft, published, etc.). A two-step modal walks you through the setup.
All relevant fields are pre-populated from the existing job, but you’ll need to choose a name, picture date, access code, and (if applicable) the expiration date and yearbook selection deadline. If the existing job includes subject data and reference photos, you can choose to carry them over as well (please note that access codes are always regenerated).
Click Duplicate Job, and your new one is ready in Draft!
Key settings like price sheet, access type, AdvancePay credit sheet and offer, manual flyers, offer settings, custom themes, backgrounds, pre-registration, and more all carry over automatically. For a complete list of which settings do and don’t duplicate, visit our support article.
