Everything you need to know about the PhotoDay Ambassador Program — what it is, who it's for, and how it works.
The PhotoDay Ambassador Program is a community of school and event photography studios who are building strong businesses and helping shape the future of the industry. Ambassadors share their expertise with peers, give direct feedback to the PhotoDay product team, and represent the platform at industry events and within the broader photography community.
Ambassadors are selected by the PhotoDay team based on how they show up for their customers, their peers, and the broader photography community. We look for studios that are actively engaged in the industry — whether they're speaking at events, mentoring other photographers, growing their visibility, or generously sharing what's working in their business.
The program has three roles that reflect the different ways studios contribute:
Each role plays a different but equally important part in the program, and there's flexibility to get more involved over time.
Ambassadors receive a feature on the PhotoDay Ambassador page, access to a private WhatsApp community with other ambassadors and the PhotoDay team, sponsored travel for selected speaking opportunities (up to $1,500 per event), an invitation to a private product roadmap session with PhotoDay's VP of Product, early access to beta features, increased visibility through co-marketing opportunities, and a welcome packet with official ambassador swag.
No. The PhotoDay Ambassador Program is free for selected studios. There are no fees, dues, or required purchases.
The program is designed to be flexible. The primary hub is a WhatsApp group used for program updates, beta announcements, and community discussion — ambassadors engage as their schedules allow. Additional opportunities like speaking engagements, webinars, articles, and beta testing are optional and based on each ambassador's interests and availability.
Yes. The program isn't a fixed structure. Ambassadors can take on different roles or get more involved over time as their goals and interests evolve.
Yes. Ambassadors are the first to hear about upcoming betas and have the opportunity to become beta testers. Announcements are shared through the private Ambassador WhatsApp group, giving ambassadors direct input on features before they launch publicly.
